Sterling Silver European 4-in-1 Chainmaille Necklace
This amazing pattern was the most popular pattern for chainmaille in Europe during the Middle Ages. This is actually the pattern that was handwoven, then rivetted, for helms, hauberks and who knows what else! Rendered here in Argentium (tarnish resistant) Sterling 92.5 Silver, every ring was coiled, cut and woven by hand into this stunningly flexible and dramatic chain. Shown here with a twist to illustrate its sensuous flexion, this chain can be worn flat or twisted; it drapes like fine mesh fabric – the feel is unbelievable! The necklace shown is 16 3/4" to 17 3/4", utilizing the handmade triple toggle clasp in back for variable length, and is 1/2" wide, but of course you are welcome to order your own unique measurements – price will change according to length and width.
