Heat-patinated copper and sterling earrings
I just love these – I could make them all day long. These are 3/4" wide hand punched discs of copper, heated with a torch to get this unique, totally one-of-a-kind colors washing over them, then lacquer-treated for permanency. The two closest to each other in color get drilled – two holes in each one, a silver nugget bead wrapped through the bottom hole and a hand forged sterling silver ear wire through the top hole. (If you’d prefer to do without the silver nugget bead, we can do that, and I even have some handforged copper ear wires if you’d like it all one metal.) These are different, subtly beautiful – and no two pair are going to be completely alike. It’s like Sundance (only more personal)!!
