CotayLite Necklace
My newest design, this necklace is fun and different. The central movement is the same graduated fused Argentium sterling silver circles as the Cotay Earrings, linked with smaller half-hitch Byzantine stations in either Argentium sterling silver, yellow goldfill or rose goldfill. The larger circles have a frosted patina to complement the smaller shiny links. Sterling silver chain supports the pendant, punctuated by small half-hitch stations of the supporting metal, on each side. The necklace is finished with an uber-easy, sterling silver sheathed magnet of unparalleled strength.
Argentium sterling silver is a modern tarnish-resistant sterling silver alloy which modifies the traditional alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) by replacing some of the copper with the metalloid germanium. As it retains the 92.5% silver content of the traditional alloy, it is still referred to as sterling silver. (Wikipedia)
